Yes, dropping the controller could well have caused the problems you're seeing.
The first one had that proprietary connector as well, so that's also something to look at.

Same exact thing happened to me! After I closed out Anthem.
Maybe tell us some details about the files you are having trouble with.
Where did they originate, what format are they in, how are the videos encoded and do the meet the sharefactory requirements etc.

Sounds like a problem with the Anthem crashing the system software.

They brought out patch 1.03 which was supposed to help, but it sounds like it hasn't.

It very much looks like it's EA's problem to fix.
One final word, never pull the power on a running (even if it's crashed) PS4. Just press and hold the power button on the console until it turns off. It can take a while, but almost always works.
Thanks Oran_Gina, I didn’t even think of that connector! I didn’t think of the software either, I will try both of those. I was reluctant to contact Nacon lest they thought I was trying to make a warranty claim for damage I did, but before giving up on this controller I will try that. Thanks again

Ive been trying a whole lot of fixes and none of them have worked so far and hope there is something i can do to fix other than fixing/replacing ps4.
My audio through my hdmi is completely fine but I rarely every use it that way. Whenever i try plugging in a headset or headphones the audio has pretty frequent crackling that is very distracting. This is throughout the whole system not game specific
Ive tried using usb mode, switching audio output settings, i always have voice commands off, and reseting ps4/controller
Plz help this is very annoying :(

This sounds like a lot of boligny but it might actually help.
Put your mouth over the L1 and L2 and blow as hard as you can a couple times.

The DEMO crashed my system three times. My friend bought the full game... it crashed his system and now his PS4 won't output video. His card got fried. I wonder who is liable for that.
Lmao just seen it lets hope they sort it. I started the game up again earlier but all it done was took me to the part wher the screens red and a javelin appears and then then blue screen saying i had been logged out. I rang playstation support earlier and the bloke i spoke to said his never known a game to shutdown a console but to get in contact with EA. I would give them a ring but cant see myself getting anywhere if they aint even responding via EA help page or twitter
This is exactly why I daren’t play it again until it’s fixed! Doubt EA are gonna pay for all the PS4s their game is breaking
