I have read your post but do not understand why going through a splitter helps instead of going straight from the Amp to TV.
I'm only connecting PS4 to Amp then out from Amp to TV, surely adding a splitter gives you yet another connection ???
you said "Using the main HDMI 2.0a cable, plug it into your PS4 Pro then into the HDMI In, on your Splitter (P.S. I used a Vellbox splitter) Next plug another HDMI 2.0a cable into your TV, using the 2.0a capable HDMI port, then into the primary port on the splitter."
my way PS4>>>Amp>>>TV
or your way PS4>>>Splitter>>>TV
So where is the Amp connection?
or did you mean PS4>>>Amp>>>Splitter>>>TV
or PS4>>>Splitter>>>Amp>>>TV
So if you can explain why this makes a difference or that you are no longer going through Amp.
I work for an AV company & the general rule is less connections the better.
