My Pro did that to. One chap got 4 replaced , so I did so more reading on computer site and it suggested to make sure your power supply is good clean power . Had my pro plug into a APC Back Up (BM900mCA) ,Amp, Samsun 75" tv, unplug the pro and plug back directly into the house outlet no more whine ( except for the glass beside me) easy fix for me very happy now Cheers Dave
