I'm assuming you have raised the age level for games that would include the game that the sub account can not access. so I bet your wondering whats the deal? If the game has online features this will help.
1. log into master account.
2. go to account then into family management
3. Select the account that is having the issue
4. under network features set age filtering for online content to OFF
5. save settings
*note if the game has customs modes or player created content you can allow viewing content created by other players*
** my only critique is turning off age filtering for online content also disables hiding games and content in PlayStation store based on your child's age. Come on Sony!**

I have a Bravia with scene set to auto
The scene should change when you turn on the PS4 and when you when you start the game. I can't remember with Uncharted 4, but if it asks if you want to play in performance or enhanced mode, then it will change again depending on which you choose.
The scene will also change when you close/end the game
This is the PS4 changing from RGB to YUV if you also have it set to auto

Yes mine is exact same starts game get the 3840x2160 then I get the scene selection, and is auto same as yourself tries to change to hdr but seems to get stuck in a loop, and I get a lot of screen flicker while it tries to do the change during the scene selection too, all my games with hdr do it ,have tried god of war, horizon, uncharted 4, infamous, detroit all the same thing

It doesn't "try" to change the scene. It is changing the scene.
Turn on TV, scene is on whatever
Turn on PS4, scene changes
Boot game, scene changes
As the game is booting it's also reading your save data, so if you have set the game to play in high resolution/performance/HDR...whatever, it will change again

Yeah sorry it is changing scene and not "trying" and it's not a hdmi cable problem cos I've tried a different one and its still the same, I've heard that changing resolution to 2160p-rgb may help

But nothing needs changing. Depending on the content, the signal will change from RGB to YUV420, so the scene will change on the TV.
If you force the PS4 to use on signal format, then some games will look OK, and others will look crap. You will then have to start changing the scene manually on the TV all the time

Yeah I dunno. I have no problems. The scene changes a couple of times depending on the content, and the screen doesn't flicker....maybe a little bit, but nothing that would concern me

Absolute disgrace that something apparently so simple has been overlooked. Could it be that Sony actually want our kids to be addicted to their consoles and do not want us parents to have any control over their usage. Myself and many others who have the same issue will be switching to other consoles come this Xmas if the problem is not solved. I suggest you all do the same! Yes your kids will be irate, but sometimes you got to be cruel to be kind, you are the parents after all!

My flicker isnt bad but is noticeable, maybe that is something to do with the Constant scene selection changing
, do you know if this very common problem? I've had my pro since launch and this is just a recent problem which is strange

This is quite disgraceful of Sony to not add a simple feature to switch the family manager to a child account. Perhaps Sony want to get our kids addicted to their consoles, they are doing a marvellous job. Myself and other will be switching to rival consoles this Xmas if the massive problem is not solved. Also there are many organisations who are now asking for direct government intervention, this includes educational establishment who can see the pupil output deteriorate as a direct result of Playstation addiction. It's going to be tough for the kids to lose their trophies etc but sometimes in life you have to be cruel to be kind, after all we are the parents.

Funding a family member wallet?
A second account on my PS4 is not allowed to put in a gift card unless it’s thru my account which makes no sense when it is their money. How do I completely disable this Family *****. I just want normal account on the ps4. I don’t want to know how to change the manager. I want to know how to turn it off. It’s pointless. Thank you
