There's no actual Sony support staff on here only PSN users like yourself who contribute where they can with knowledge they have picked up.
What I would suggest is a database rebuild option 5 via the safe mode menu.
How do I start the PS4 in Safe Mode?
- Turn off the PS4 system by pressing the power button on the front panel. The power indicator will blink for a few moments before turning off.
- Once the PS4 system is off, press and hold the power button again. Release it after you hear the second beep: one beep will sound when you first press, and another seven seconds later.
- Connect the DUALSHOCK 4 with the USB cable and press the PS button on the controller.

PS4 connection speed help
Hi, I just purchased a new TP-LINK 3200 router to help improve my slow connection speeds (5-15mbps download / 0.7-3mbps) on my PS4, but it has not made any difference. Games and party chat keep skipping (whatever the technical term is) which makes some games run quite poorly in multiplayer, plus I cannot hold any share play sessions. The new router I purchased is supposed to be faster than my Virgin provided router but the PS4 is not getting it.
The times I've tried to set up an internet connection, sometimes the router doesn't show up. I've had to connect it via my Virgin media router which still shows up on the available routers. Do I need to change something with my Virgin router? Is there something I need to do with the router settings, ports, firewall or something? If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

PS4 No Output Issue
Hello guys,
I have a CUH-1216B and after a week of not using it seems that i have no output on the TV and the console's led goes white(maybe WLOD). I tried changing the cable but to no avail. I tried going into Safe Mode but i still have no signal. The pins of the HDMI socket seem alright to me so maybe the HDMI chip is busted, i don't know. I just preordered Spiderman and now my PS4 is busted( i hate my life). I managed at least to use the PS4 via Remote Play. Is there anything i can do to fix this or do i have to send it for repairs? Is this problem covered by the warranty service and if not how much does it cost? If i no longer have the box of the PS4 does this voids my warranty or anything( i still have the papers) ? And do you know much time does it take if you send it for repairs( i kinda want to have it back before Spiderman launches because otherwise i'll just play it on Remote Play, although it doesn't look that good) ?

Well I'm guess that when you update your game, your PS4 gets confused and can't read the disk. The problem is not the disk itself, it's the PlayStation is the on to blame, or blame yourself.
Well I mean is that ,IF you leave your PS4 on rest mode, you will break it, to if you let your PS4 collect dust (It a Thory) it will also break.

PS4 sometimes don't detect headphones
Hello everyone.
I have a Razer Kraken 7.1 headset (USB input), which I use on the PS4, but many times it does not recognize them and I have to disconnect them, restart and turn off the PS4 several times, until it detect them.
The most unusual thing is that when it detect them, the sound is wrong and to fix it I disconnect them for a moment, and I immediately detect them as if I never had this type of detection problem.
When I bought the PS4 for the first time, it detected them without problems, but now I do not know why this happens.
I use the same headphones for my PC and they have absolutely no problem, and it can detect them well.
I have also tried both USB inputs.
I don't speak english perfectly, sorry if I made a mistakes.
