My headphones have a built in mic but when i plug the cable to the ps4 it only gives me audio but the mic wont work. I am not able to talk. What can i do?

Probably incompatible. Hard to say definitively as you don't mention which they are.
Basic Android spec headsets should work, others such as Apple are wired differently and either work with problems on the v1 controllers, or not at all on the newer v2 controllers.

Error Code e-80180202
I had a similar problem.
While the ps4 was on I kept the power buttom pressed because it didn't answer. When it started again it showed a message which said that it was checking the storage system. It couldn't finish and asked to update it through a usb pendrive. The code shown was CE-34788-0
I decided to reinstall de system but it didn't work. It started to show the code e-80180202 "cannot access the storage system" or something like that.
Someone from the psn support told me that I should use a pendrive with 4gb max, download the file from the psn website, format the pendrive under the fat32 system (I also chose 16Kilobites on the "Allocation unit size").
I left the PS4 unplugged the whole night and tried to do it again the next morning.
It worked.

so ive been still having issues, i was told it's a harddrive thing. the last thing she said we should do is the ultimate sweep, where you need to download an update to a USB and do a very specific initialization process. call their support number, press 4, and its relatively a fast process from the, if you're in warranty you're fine otherwise it'll be about 100 bucks to fix (sounds crappy) but likely better than buying a new one. we lost all our game data and time and money, so we're outta a ps4 now, makes a good paper weight, that's about it.

I forgot to say that I also removed the HDD because I thought I had to replace it. I didn't change it because I didn't have another in that moment so I plugged in the same HDD again.
Maybe, it also helped to solve my problem.

Share plays don’t work
So my share plays randomly stopped working. Pretty much everyone used to be able to join mine no problems. Well now, it won’t let anyone connect to my shareplays. My WiFi is good, so it’s not that. I can join other people’s shareplays and see everything fine, I just can’t host one anymore. It lets me start a shareplay up, but it always says “___ can not connect to your shareplay.” Any help?

Well the photos are from @ASKPS_UK and they think it something do do with the hdd or something. Now I'm not formatting the console if it has bean working.
But I think there is something else going on. On there side. I could be wrong.
But scince there are more people with this problem. At least this commuaty always helps. 🙂

PS4 stuck after selecting user
Hi,
I got a PS4 500gb slim console in July, and it worked fine until 2 weeks ago.
By not working, I mean it powers up normally, transitions to the usual epilepsy warning message and then to the "select user" screen.
From there, I select my user and the screen is frozen a few seconds after, with the animated waves freezing.
Its stuck on the blue wavey screen with the username and battery status on the top left. After 1 min, my TV goes a dark grey and nothing else happens. I tried leaving it on for a good hour, and nothing changed.
Is there anything else I can do before I send the console to sony? I've booted it up in safe mode, rebuilt the database, updated, restarted and unplugged everything.

I have the same problem. I have 2 ps4 and the one Work perfekt but the other one have this problem.
I have try to renset the ps4 to new but the same. Mouse and keyboard Dont Work too.
The headset, mouse and keyboard Work perfekt on the other ps4 .
the PS4 has the newest software 5.5.
Someone who Can help me, it my son's ps4 and he is sad about that and Can play with his friends.

It's more likely to be something happening during authentication at the server end, but what's causing that might be any number of things. I'm hoping we can rule out some factors such as the console and connection, so when they do get on it, it might narrow things down a bit.
I'm sorry to see you're all having this, especially over the weekend, it doesn't make for a happy weekend, but fingers crossed it doesn't spoil your weekend too much and it gets sorted sooner rather than later.

I've been getting the NP-34981-5 error code during license restoration as well, however my situation seems to be a bit different, as none of my games have ever been affected.
I purchase videos through PS video, and around 2 months ago my S7 of game of thrones and S3 of rick and morty simply disappeared out of my library. After contacting playstation they had me restore my licenses to no avail, and had to refund me the $ to repurchase the same items, which worked for a time.
Then the same seasons of shows disappeared again last week, and once again i called playstation only this time, after license restoration, the shows reappeared in my library.
However, neither of them will play. Upon license restoration sometimes it works fine, sometimes i get error code NP-34981-5, either way the affected videos will still not play and they simply state that the "license information is not available try again later".
Dunno if it matters, but since only my videos are affected I'd say it hints more towards something on playstation's end of things, because videos stream off their servers right?
