Crackling display then nothing, Blank screen!
Watching Netflix channel as normally then we started to get a crackle on the bottom of the screen like a loose cable, got up a did the obvious and wiggled the HDMI. This turned the screen blank!
There is a connection from the PS4 to the TV but theres no visual.
I have changed HDMI cables, ports to the TV, reset the PS4, unplugged the PS4 and nothing.
I have seen feeds for this white light of death, but just want someones opinion on what to do next before I buy a new PS4.
It's a PS4 slim, which was untill recent months has not played on for over a year. It's been running exceedingly well untill tonight.

PS4 Party chat says voice chat disabled
Also having this issue. My friend and I can't hear each other in the party chat. Next to his name in the party menu, I see the "Voice chat disabled" icon, and he sees the same next to mine. We know our mics are working; when we press "Test Mic Level", the sound bar reacts to our voice. We both enabled our voices to be heard in the party settings, yet the "Voice chat disabled" icon remains.

My PS4 is making my discs dirty
I popped in the install disc of Red Dead Redemption 2 and after 13 GBs installed, I got an error. I took the disc out and saw that it had smudges on it. I cleaned the disc and put it back into the disc drive. After a little while, I took the disc back out to see if it was getting dirty again and it did! I checked the disc that I had taken out of the PS4 before Red Dead and I noticed that that was getting dirty too. What do I do?

PS4 needs and can’t update 6.20
Hi. I had the same problem. I flew from Chicago to NYC with my PS4 in a laptop bag, and when I got to my room I turned the PS4 on, and it went straight to safe mode. I have tried multiple times to re-install the small patch, however, I kept getting the same error code (as the OP). So, it hasn't been working for me like it has for the OP.
Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed? Or do I really have to reinstall the entire system software and wipe out my data?

Not sure if this will help, but I had a similar problem recently, and the PS4 wouldn't accept the update file.
I agree with WhiteMonkey, that the HDD might be the problem. However, before resorting to purchasing a new HDD, I would suggest trying the update again. I believe you have to directly download the update file into the USB drive, and not tamper with it (move it or copy it). Then I suggest trying again. It worked for me, it might for you.
If it doesn't, well, it doesn't hurt to try. Hope it helps.

Didn't get my "Bug Control" Trophy.
I completed the "Bug Control" Trophy on Spyro Reignited Trilogy: Riptors Rage. I have video evidence on my YouTube page. If someone could explain how it didn't count, or if someone from Sony could credit my account with it that would be great. It's the last trophy I need to get the platinum trophy.

Didn't get my "Bug Control" Trophy.
I can't explain why it didn't give you the trophy, but I can tell you that it might have been a glitch or bug.
I don't know if this has happened to other people, but sometimes the game doesn't count progress you made or something you completed, as I had completed a mission on a different game and should have both completed a quest and earned a trophy for it, but neither registered the completion.
I completed the mission again, and it seemed to work. I can suggest the same for you, if you haven't already.
Other than that, I don't know what the problem is or how to fix it. Hope this helps.

My PS4 is making my discs dirty
A good start might be to clean the bristles near the disc slot. Those are likely to be the issue.

Everytime PS4 Turns on, internet stops working
I'm having the same problem like the wife will be on her cell over the wifi and me on my phone till I turn the ps4 pro on and it's on a lan line so how is it stopping the wifi for everything when the ps4 is on lan line maybe router problems so if any help please my wife is driving me nuts so half to turn the ps4 off and we cant have that just to have wifi.

Controller Connection Issue
If you haven't used the controller before, you will need to pair it with the PS4 first by connecting the controller to the PS4 via a USB - micro-USB cable (the same one you use to charge the controllers). Once you have connected it, press the PS button and it should begin working, and it will now be paired to the PS4.
