So for some reason, my PS4 has been banned from the PS network. Now I’m trying to find out why or how but I have received no emails and is 9.24am in the UK and the customer service line is closed. I need help. ASAP! Thanks!

Turn the PS4 off. Unplug from the mains for a couple of minutes, plug back in, turn on and try again.
If that doesn't help try option 5 in safe mode
How do I start the PS4 in Safe Mode?
- Turn off the PS4 system by pressing the power button on the front panel. The power indicator will blink for a few moments before turning off.
- Once the PS4 system is off, press and hold the power button again. Release it after you hear the second beep: one beep will sound when you first press, and another seven seconds later.
- Connect the DUALSHOCK 4 with the USB cable and press the PS button on the controller.
Scroll down to Option 5 and click X

No, I only saw him replace a tiny part on the motherboard. A faulty capacitor is easy to find: if it is broken it will cause a short. With a multimeter measure impedance (most meters have a beep option).

The capacitor could also have been broken before since I did not know the optical drive was not working anymore (we don't use it, all games are bought online).

PS4 wont turn on/overheated?
I was in the middle of playing a game with my friend when suddenly the screen fuzzed and my ps4 turned off. It was quite hot and it won't turn back on at all. If I unplug the cord in the back of the ps4 and plug it back in again the ps4 will beep for a split second. I have no idea what to do, please help.

I took mine to a local UBreakIFix store and they fixed the drive. It updated right at the store. But I just traded it in to Gamestop for credit and now have a PS4 Pro
