After I selected the Media Player it updated to 4.00. After that everything is working. Not sure if that's what fixed it.

This happened to me after the new update, luckily i fixed it. Go to set up a new internet connection but choose Custom rather than Easy. Pick the automatic option for everything but when it gets to "MTU" choose Manual & set it as: "1473". Retest connection. This worked for me.

Found a solution to my issue which was caused by the 5.55 update overnight. Was getting error CE-38704-2 'Cannot Connect to the Server' and couldn't access any PSN content. Reluctantly used the troubleshooting site https://connection.support.playstation.com (I can give 101 advice but despair when receiving it) and got to a bit about opening TCP/UDP ports - that did the trick.

Reconnect manual inthernet , set ur MTU to 1473. Or just try and log in to psn on another device, it will make you disconnect on ps4, and you will be able to login again. Then it will work. Im online again now.

I had done the same recently and my drive has been like that for months, but I received the same error. Go back in and make sure all the cables are connected and seated properly. Turn it back on and try inserting a disc again. It worked for me, as well as ejection from the on screen option, not the physical button, it just wouldn't recognize the disc every time I tried it. However, the update installed, and everything is functioning just fine as far as internet and games. Give it a shot. Maybe it's a bad cable? Luckily mine still work, just apparently weren't fully connected or seated properly.

Make sure all the cables are properly seated and connected in your console. I opened it up and disconnected all the cables and put them back in making sure they were fully connected and properly seated, fired it back up and the update finally installed.

I just got thisbsame error message, excep now my controller doesn't work. It flashes once or twice when I press the PS button in the middle, but it won't connect to my console. It's been stuck on the same screen since I updated

I'm on normal ps4 and I get that error code which if you go through ps support doesn't tell you what it means they have a similar error code ending in 1 which mean your connection is the problem when it's clearly the update just uninstall and what for them to fix it. Iv uninstalled mine and all works again
