System software update 5.55 causes serious screen flickering. In order to get my prehistoric Samsung TV (non-4K) to co-operate with PS4 Pro, the console's screen output must be set to 720p. Any other alternatives of screen resolution output (automatic, 1080i or 1080p) lead to screen flickering.

could not fixed it by myself, had to use the live chat support, but you will have to endure doing the troubleshooting at least once, save the chat, and they will escalate the case to the level2 support. after that, for me it took like 10 days insisting in the chat support every day (if they try to make you the troubleshooting again, just paste the chat you saved where the last support guy told you is all tested and it needs to be escalated). for me at least, there was no other way around.

PS4 Pro - No audio using wireless and plugged USB headset

Thanks for the reply and sorry for some of the vague information but I've fixed the issue now. It was rather silly and small, but it was to do with the output of the audio being chat only instead of all sounds through the headset. It was done through the settings menu to fix this. Thought I'd leave this here for reference in case anyone gets caught out with a similar issue.

when we purchased this ps4 I used my email to set up account for my 9 year old son and since no one else plays we did not set up adult/manager account, so i believe by default my son is manager. Now I would like to set time limits but since my son is the manager it says you can not set control/time limits? Should I set up an account and switch myself to manager

Family manager
Same problem. I now have three separate accounts. Two for my kids and one for me. But one of the kids created their id before the other ids were created. I would have thought using family management I could have just pulled their accounts under mine but seems like the only option is to create new ids for them under my account. However then there is no way to keep progress or their friends that they have already connected with. I'm running out of email addresses to assign accounts to! :-)
