I just had that happened so I can download Spiderman Pre-order. I went into notifications and deleted everything in that window and the update is finally downloading and hopefully Spiderman will pre-load.

PS4 Pro random black screen dropouts
I done it as soon as i made my post and to my amazement it worked. Ive just been playing the Battlefield Beta and PES 2019 for close to 2 and a half hours and not a single cut out/black screen! Brilliant. Cheers for the info im sure your helping a ton of people!

Destiny trophies not popping
With the recent forsaken expansion it gives the option to boost character levels to 30 so I did on my Titan and Hunter classes. It worked, and fully leveled those characters but the trophies for unlocking all the subclasses didn't pop yet I now have all of the subclasses. What am I, an obsessive trophy hunter, to do?

Separation of Input vs Output Audio.
Its not hard your OVER compensating...
The Astro A50 headset is an OPTICAL audio headset... thats the reason people buy them they don't buy them if they have a PS4 slim unless the HDTV has optical port... it a waste of money if you don't have an optical port..
It gets audio from the optical port not USB...
You don't even need it selected as any input or out put the audio comes from the optical port...
The only options that needs to be enabled in audio devices is the USB MIC as input...
Out put is left as HDTV/AMP...
The box to change out put automatically is not ticked...
All audio goes to the HEADSET via OPTICAL cable... from PS4 PORT or HDTV optical port
The mic in is the USB mic of the yeti...

Extra the Yeti Micro has a HEADPHONE jack option to pass through the audio from PC on windows this USB chipset IDs as a Headset to get audio from windows PCS So it is using a USB headset ID for windows,
It may not be supported on PS4 as an out put but they use a Headset USB ID chipset for windows functions so ID as a possible audio out source...
If they drop the jack from your model that does not mean they change chip set they will still use the same USB chipset build...
Headphones jack on yeti, depending on the build it supports USB to 3.5mm audio out conversion... not just mic monitoring...

Ok, weird, both region 2, but you're in Australia right? Isn't Australia R4 for DVD?
I think more info might be needed.
I know you said they both (console and boxset) came from the same city, were they bought in Europe or Australia?

Both from Australia. Yes Australia is region 4 so understand why they wouldnt work, but all the other discs do work and its just the one that doesnt, so im a little confused.

None of them should work if they're all marked R2, but obviously that's not the case here as some do.
Does it say just Region 2 on the back of the box or is it R2/4?
Is it new, used, from a shop you could return them to at all by any chance?

I think the easiest solution in that case is just rebuying the one that doesn't work as region 4.

Safe Mode Death Loop
Yep more and more people are appearing with problems regarding 5.56.I'm in the same boat...downloaded the update and some days later safe mode loop happened to me and 2 days before Spider-Man's launch...gotta thank Sony for their lousy hardware and poor software updates.PS4 is a disgrace of a system.Read countless things on the internet about the problem and I heard that if you keep trying you might get into the dashboard...can at least give you time to back up your stuff before trying the last resort...format.I just want a way to save ma stuff from the capture gallery...if anyone knows message me please.

can't log into ps4
Bought a ps4 pro today, but I can't seem to log into psn.
It prompts me to update my privacy settings, but then just errors after completing it.
I already tried turning everything on [no one] as other threads suggested and I don't use the playstation app so those solutions don't work...
I also tried using my ps3 to set everything to private, but updating real name errored there.
I tried installing the playstation android app after this, but that errors after asking my real name and bugs out.
I've tried updating my real name on the sony entertainment website as well since it's empty there as well, but it errors on the site too.
