I’m now finally all connected but had to connect to the network with an Ethernet cable and select LAN instead of WiFi (as mentioned above). I then had to delete my previous user account and create a new one. Long winded but it did eventually work

The controller might still be bind to the other PS. Try to connect one controller with USB and the other wireless, see if it works. Oh and you need at least a guest account for the second controller.

I have the same issue since this morning. I was playing RDR2 when I lost controls. None of my controllers reconnected with the system. They both still work (checked that via Remote Play on PC) and are fully charged.
I've tried synching them in all possible ways, via usb, pairing via bluetooth,...
I booted the ps4 in safe mode and did a system reset (without data loss). Now I'm stuck on the blue screen telling me to connect a controller to the system.... In Save Mode, the controller worked (via usb I assume, not bluetooth).

I've tried that multiple times. On another message board, it was suggested to power off both ps4 and my internet router. Safely unplugged both, waited an hour, did a reset of both controllers, restarted,... still the same issue. The console has been sitting in the same "drawer" for the past 3 years so it didn't fall and I try to keep it dust-free as much as possible.

If these 5 other devices are all on 5 GHz WiFi, there's every chance of it being flaky.
Change some of those to 2.4 GHz maybe? You can check as well if your neighbours are using the sane channels as you, something like WiFi analyzer on android, and change if needed.
Ethernet wins every time though, even though it doesn't have a 5 GHz mode

PS3 trophies not showing on my PS4 profile
So when I go to my profile *I* can see all the games and all the trophies I’ve got on my PS3 and PS4, but when looking from another account on my profile it has the trophy count correct but when you look at the list it isn’t showing any PS3 games so you can’t see the trophies I’ve got on those games, only the PS4 games.
The games aren’t hidden. All the games are set to public viewing. I’ve gone on my PS3 and made sure the trophies are in “online” mode. I’ve synced the PS3 trophies to the PSN. I’ve manually checked on the PS3 that each games privacy setting is correct.
When looking on the myPlayStation site they show on my profile however. But on the PS4 public profile they aren’t showing up?
Any ideas?
