PS4 Slowing Home Wifi???
Hi,
Before I start I know there are a lot of thread son here about similar problems to mine but I can't seem to find one identical with a solution.
My PS4 is connected to the internet through a LAN cable connected into a TP-Link AV200+ Powerline adaptor which is plugged in an extension cable in the bedroom (where the PS4 is). The router is in the kitchen, the other side of the bungalow connected into another TP-Link adaptor. I'm using LAN as the wifi in the bungalow is rubbish in the bedroom this far from the router and I have to use a TP-Link wifi extender just to get wifi in the bedroom.
When ever the PS4 is turned on it makes any device connected to the extender in the bedroom completely unusable and when the PS4 is turned off I can stream download etc completely fine on my phone.
I have tried moving the TP-Link adaptor around to different locations in the bedroom, I have also tried connecting the PS4 into the extender (through LAN) as opposed to the adaptor but it still takes down the wifi. If I connect the PS4 to the wifi extender through wifi I just experience unplayable lag.
It's really confusing as I use the PS4 connected through the powerline adaptor, which has nothing to do with the wifi extender, yet it completely wipes the wifi from the room the extender is in (the bedroom) and doesn't affect any device connected through wifi directly to the router.
Can anyone make sense of what I'm trying to explain and offer any help please???

Same here, not sure when it will fix itself but plugging in a good set of headphones into the controller and turning up “Volume Control (headphones) and all the sounds come through. A temporary fix, but at least we can game now

Update 6.20 SU 42118 6
I am LOSING my MIND!! I bought a new disc drive for my model PS4, replaced it and STILL cant download the update. I still recieve error SU-42118-6!! I tried in safe mode, i rebuilt the data, I WIPED MY WHOLE PS4 and still nothing. What the hell playstation?!?!?

Family manager and PS PLUS
Hello! I´m completely new to PS 4. I´m going to set up the PS tomorrow for my 9 year old son. I want to be a family manager. I also want my son to have PS PLUS. My question is if my son can be primary user on the PS4 and I can be the family manager? As I understand it for other people to enjoy family sharing on a PS4 the primary user has to be the owner of the PS Plus?
I could set up the system so that I am the family manager, primary user and buy the PS PLUS for me. The problem, if I understand it correctly, is that my son then can´t enjoy the cloud storage? That is why I want him to be primary user and have the PS PLUS account at the same time as I am the Family manager.
Is this possible? ...and how do I set it up?

Just finished with tech support, they want me to send it in for service, so they can look into what the issue will be. The chat timed out before they could tell me just how much it would cost me to do so, however, I don't feel I should be responsible for a software update problem...

Playstation plus
Hi I have two sons that use the PS4. My eldest son has his account activated as the primary playstation plus account. My youngest son cannot access playstation plus on his account. He wants the ability to play online with his friends but does not get the option to do so. He said he could do so previously but recently he cannot. Thank You

Problems with the 6.50 update.
After update to 6.50 I no longer am able to connect my ps4 pro to wi fi. I have another ps4 that has no issues even after update. I rebooted my modem, router and console. I rebuilt the database through safe mode. I restored default settings to forget the wi fi info. Connected an lan cable and got a connection. Everything else works. Any input would be great. Thanks
