There's no increase in performance between SSD and SSHD the console will hold the full performance of the SSD back, it's basically like putting a Formula 1 engine in a tank so don't waste your money.
Ignore the guy above 2TB is the maximum internal HDD you can install in a PS4 in 2019 there's been no increase.

i dont think sony ever mentioned this themselves though. theres people that got the issue that never opened their consoles at all, my disc drive was working the night before the update so iunno why its not working anymore lol. Sony has got to say something about whats going on..

6.50 update no audio will they even address this problem??
The question is, are you just posting on here complaining, or are you letting tech know? I contacted them and yes they I'm went down the "contact the the manufacturer" route. However, instead of getting frustrated, I explained it's a widespread issue, gave the tv model (TCL) it's not the console but it is the s/w update, and they said they'd escalate it to that team.

Guys. I think it's about the way you approach tech, because I spoke to them last night, they of course went down the route of "contact your manufacturer". But instead of getting frustrated, giving up and complaining on here (as it seems some people have), I explained it's a widespread issue since the update only, everyone has a TCL tv, so it's not the console but it's the SW update. The tech support team are used to troubleshooting console issues rather than software issues. I provided some links, they said they'd escalate this to the software team. So hopefully this will help but it would be better if others did the same instead of just posting in forums.

ich habe meine PS4 seit längerem nicht mehr benuzt und jetzt komme ich immer in den Sicherheits Modus der mich auffordert die Systemsoftware Manuell zu installieren aber ich finde nur das Systemsoftware UPDATE, was falsch ist also wo bekomme ich das richtige her bitte hilfe :(

Thank you as I absolutely appreciate your support and time. So SSHD and max 2Tb for internal storage only. Any larger, external is the next step.
Do do you recommend a specific SSHD? Seagate? If so, which model? Of course I want to save money ans get the best performance as well.

It could be a problem with the hdd, especially if the console was running when if fell. Hdd's don't like being being dropped, at any time.

Minecraft online game
I’ve just purchased PS+ account so I can play online with family and although can play other games, Minecraft is not working.
If I create a game, it says I’m not signed in. It shows a box to Connect to PSN but I cannot click it or cancel, I can only switch off and try again but same thing happens.
Strange because I can click on the Minecraft store on home screen and can see the packs I can purchase. What am I doing wrong??

Many users go for the 2TB Seagate Barracuda for the internal HDD.
As for the external HDD the current maximum is 8TB,personally I a 3TB Seagate Expansion external HDD connected to Pro and regular PS4.

Error SU-30671-7 with update 6.50
So as of this morning. This is what I did and it worked. Go to your download manger on your PS4. Delete the error file and then redownload it and it installed 6.50 without any issues. No need for USBs. I think the first download wasn’t good and they must of updated it since. But it worked for me. Good luck. Hope this helps.

I'm trying to trade my playstation 4 to gamestop for a ps4 pro but everytime they try to connect to wifi it keeps on saying to use a proxy and they dont have one and I never used one is there anyway to fix it without completing resetting my ps4 to factory setting

Update Error
Playstation have told me that a security system built into the last update is at fault , i have tried all the safe mode boots and even the "download onto the usb stick option" still no hope , i believe it to be an apple timed "bricking" of the ps4 , after talking at length with sony ps4 systems people there are just two choices £120 repair or buy a new system .Sony/playstation are aware that this update and others in the past have destroyed players systems turning them into expencive paperweights and all they say is "i'm sorry" just give them another fist full of cash and pretend thats all part of the ps4 experience. If anyone knows how to really fix this problem , not just a playstation/sony bot I would love to hear from them .
