If it's an optional update then why did my ps4 downloaded and installed updates automatically?

I had fifa 18 in because I was going to play it.. realised there was an update, and then tried to do it... if I can post vidoes I can show you all my console is brand new, I will never again leave a game inside, I've never had any issues until today.

If you have it set up to download and install updates automatically it will.

You need to uncheck that in settings if you want to control optional updates etc.

It's only a month or so old so you are well covered with warranty.

If you cannot get the system started there's a way of removing stuck disks, details in the link underneath.

I tried what you said turning it off at the mains.. and it still hasn't come on... and sony support are still saying they're closed.. and no matter what I'm covered then with warranty.

Could try the retailer where you purchased the PS4 Pro from, don't forget to manually eject the FIFA 18 disk.

Hi, i got this error on update 5 now just installed update 5.01 and still same error number!! My system been off since beginning of October, been reinstalled trying to fix it so lost all my stuff now hope lost again after latest update!!! Not good 😣
