In some forums someone said to run the PS4 on safe mode and then update the system people say that the solution if that didn't work I guess I will have to rebuild the database, what I'm curious about...

Could of had underlying corrupted data before attempting the update which caused it to fail. If I know there's an update on it's way I will rebuild the database in preparation like I did with the 4.00...

That's very weird. I am using the lastest firmware 1150. But it was working before already the UHD is opened in order to display HDR content. Everytime I play an HDR content it displays on the screen....
