So, I'm trying to play R6S and I can't, then the PS4 says it needs to restart, but gets stuck in a loop with Safe Mode, so I yt and Google, and Initialize my PS4; problem is fixed but temporarily, so I do this two more times, then get the code CE-30005-8 because I'm trying to play BF4 (disc is okay) So I do the steps check disc and passed so u rebuild my database, problem is fixed, but once again another code shows up CE-35888-2; My System Software has latest update 5.50, ISO Help

Don’t know why my post came up empty.
Anyway, I have been getting this error after trying to change my HDD. I recently dropped my Seagate 2TB. I disassembled it, reparked the head and switched it out with the PS4’s 500GB. I downloaded the reinstall software and tried to initialize but keep getting this error between 16-33%.
Any help is appreciated.
EDIT: Meant to say I switched out the 500GB witht the 2TB.

Does that mean I have to make that that file on the hard drive 1st? And then rename it then I could get it to recognize from my ps4?

First reformat the hdd to fat32 if your trying to upgrade, install it in your ps4 then have a USB drive with the new update then connect that to the PS4 to update (follow the guide that sony has to update it using a usb).

Is the new hdd refoematted to fat32? If not then you need to do this so the os4 can recognize it so then it will rexognize your usb with the file.

You shouldn't have to open the optical drive. I was able to fix error PS4 SU 42118-6 by cutting off the T part of the data ribbon that goes into the optical drive from the motherboard. At first I removed it and just put it back in. It didn't work. Did this several times and it didn't work. After I cut the T end on both sides of the cable and jammed the cable into the connection port then it worked. I also updated in safe mode using USB at the same time so I don't know which did the job. Best advice is to cut the T part of the cable and STICK that cable in there! Good Luck!!!

well this was a i believe a separate problem as my ps4 wasnt accepting my disks and making no noise what so ever. As when it normally started up it would make a whirring sound and then it would die down. But would you mind showing me what cable your talking about like a picture and what would i use to cut the T End on the ribbon. (sorry kind of a noob at these kind of things.)

can't sign in on PS4 (keeps saying wrong info)
Hi, I was hoping someone could help me. I'm sorry this is so long. So about two days ago I logged onto my psn app and it said I was signed out so I tried to sign back in and it kept saying my password was wrong so I just reset the password and everything was fine. Well I got on my Ps4 that night and I was signed out since I did change the password that day, well I typed in the new password and it says the user or password is incorrect, i try a few more times and nothing, so I just reset the password again and it doesn't work no matter how many times I changed it. Now I can still sign into my psn app and sign in on PlayStations website but I can't sign in on the actual ps4, I even tried to put my account on my friend's ps4 and it didn't work.
I contacted Sony and live chatted with them and told them everything that happened. They sent me a "hard reset password" or something and then even had me restart the ps4 and tried the password reset about five more times, they had me initialization restore default settings on ps4, gave me a few numbers to put in the IP address settings, kept having me change the password and NOTHING worked. The last thing they told me to do was maybe contact my internet company and make sure the input and output was a specific way (some sort of long letters and numbers) or just to delete my account and make a new one. I really don't think it's the Internet since my friend's can't even login to my account on their ps4 with their internet.
I'm really hoping someone can help me or have any advice. I really don't want to delete my account, I have had it for five years and although I didn't spend tones of money on digital games, I did buy a few and some dlc stuff. PS. I did do the update for the ps4 and the next day this happened so I'm not sure if the update had anything to do with this.

Check the PlayStation Network status if that all turns out to be fine the problems with your router. Disconnect the power source for 30 seconds and reconnect it, let everything reboot and try logging in again.

Transfering save file between ps4's using same account. Error! Help!
I've been scouring the forums for hours and I'm at the point where I'm making a new post because I have found no useful information to help me.
So, I bring my copy of skyrim over to my boyfriend's place and I start a new game. my account is set up on both ps4's and I made sure to play my game on my own account. I want to play the save I made on my boyfriend's ps4 on my ps4 at home, so I copy the save to a usb.
Once I got home I plugged the usb stick in, go to the save data management settings, and go to copy save data from usb. All I get is a message saying "there is no save data"
I tried syncing my account on both ps4's, I updated both ps4's, I reinstalled skyrim on my ps4, I moved the save to my computer and manually restructured the folders and formatted my usb...nothing. According to Sony, as long as the save came from my own account there should be no problem, so what is going wrong here??

Just because it is fine on pc or other devices doesn't make the connection optimised for PS4.
To use online functions properly various ports need to be open.
Also, chat and online multiplayer is always likely to give issues if connecting by wi-fi. If that's the case then the best option is use an ethernet cable. If for some reason that is humanly not possible, then consider power line adapters instead.

If you need more help, you have to give us some idea of your set up, ISP, modem/router, estimated line speeds, wi-fi or ethernet, actual line speeds (not via the console, use a browser tool via pc such as http://www.speedtest.net/ ), anyone else gaming on the same home network at the same time.

This is a solution that worked for me. This will not guarantee to fix your problem so be cautious when attempting as it may damage thecable if done incorrectly. I assume no responsibility for your actions.
If you do manage to cut the data ribbon cable you can find them on amazon or ebay. Just search ps4 flex cable.
This is my cable with the T part cut off. Cutting the plastic should make the insert look like a rectangle. If you look at the top part you can actually see a piece of plastic that I didn’t fully cut to avoid the pin. Compare this with your cable. If you look at the corners it will just be blue plastic. Avoid cutting the parts that provide connection with the pins. I used small household scissors to cut the plastic edges.

alright i will give it a try and to be honest i dont really care much anymore once i get this thing reassembled hopefully it will work after that if not i just might have to get a new ps4 and i dont have $300 to shell out for a new one.

Try formatting the drive on a pc. That might give a few more clues, but hdd's are not designed to be dropped.
