So after reading you guys with the optical drive I go to my ps4 press eject to get my Battlefield 1 Disc out and duh dah nothing happens.
So obviously it's the disc drive right?
It doesnt make sense though I played BF1 near to the update and it worked fine.
I think EA got jealous and ***** up my cd drive because I was on Fortnite too much.
Now I just need a torque screwdriver set and have a look.
try going through plusnet fibre nothing in the house lags and the ps4 works a treat

followed instructions to the letter and it wiped every thing out of my ps memory all game information everything very very annoyed all licences from GT SPORT gone hours of play wiped out.😢
Well...After further research..For the lag, I reset my controller (it works better) and for the error code, must close out game app before going to the PS4 settings (not the game settings)..Possibly, since I received a different error code when troubleshooting...Thanks for your speedy response..

There's a screw on the side of the ps4 which you can use to manually eject the disc if it's stuck.

That update has caused my PS4 to stop working with monitors.
I got it to work, they had to change my email address, which they could only do if i had the serial number to the PlayStation I made my account on (which was the ps3 that i don't have anymore) or verifying the first four and last four numbers of the debit/credit card I used to buy something on psn. Thankfuly I was able to buy something cheap with my card using the psn app that i was still logged into (never had my card info on my psn before).
Just thought I would put this info here incase anyone else has the same issue and hopefully it can be of some sort of help.
I have forwarded the ports that sony says to forward. No one else is gaming on my home network. I am using wi-fi. My wi-fi download speed is 94mbps and upload speed is 12mbps.my ISP is virgin media. My router is virgin hub 3.0 The estimated download speed on my ps4 is between 25-50mbps sometimes higher.

Since the new update 5.50 was installed I am unable to put my settings to 4k without a green overlay on the screen. Set it back to 2k and it disappears. Also I am paying for the 4k netflix edition and when I try and run the app while the settings are set to 2k it turns black and I lose all control of the system. I am running a ps4 pro through a 4k tv. I believe it has to have something to do with the recent updates upscaling feature?
I do not have PlayStation plus

in the time when i playing in 2 players one pad after few min, stop working light is flashing normally but no reaction only thing is helpig is restart of pad. i think thats happens after new update. any help what can do ???
