Sign out and back in, logging out does not sign you out.
That's the bit that seems to have helped some.
That and changing privacy settings for messages.
There are a few threads on here if you use the search box (top right of every page) where you might find alternative things to try that other people have found to work for them.

Not sure what you mean by recovering your account, all you need do as part of the initial set up is choose to sign in using your existing account when presented with that option.
If your using a game from Activision or Ubisoft ( which never have the correct amount off QA funding done that features a PHOTO/VIDEO mode... ) Don't use it due to there games being a buggy mess due to the continued lack of QA funding by the publishers those photo/video modes are are broken mess and will corrupt the capture gallery storage...
You may need to copy those games content to USB and then delete them of the capture gallery after which Normal photo gallery use will return...
Won't allow you to login as it detects that the account belongs to a minor...

Return it to the retailer for an exchange or refund.

A PSN Account's DOB cannot be changed..
All these Services offered by Sony have Terms of Service attached to them... You can change the Date at MobileSony but each element of the Sony Service have their own Terms of Service.
I've tested this DOB fully concerning the PSN Account.. it's unchanged.
If you select DOB for the Verification factor, it will only work with the original date used.
The only benefit of MobileSony is to check for the DOB used..
And this is a recent addition as many of the Privacy Laws have been changing recently.
DOB was a hidden feature before and the only other way to check the DOB was through a Game called 'GT Sport' where during signing up to online play, the DOB was visible.

I dropped my PS4 when it was kept on Vertical, it fell horizontal to the normal position. I turned it on and it only shows my blue blinking light, when I do Safe Mode, it lets me do it but if whichever option I pick and once it restarts the PS4, it won't turn on and only have the blue blinking light again. I have tried to initialize PS4 using Reinstalling method using USB but once it downloads everything, it goes back to blinking light.. The PS4 is on but it just doesn't show and has blinking light, I tried changing resolution on Safe Mode but when it said the PS4 will Restart, it restarted but nothing on screen and blinking light. Please help, thanks
my laptop seems to connect perfectly and the monitor adjust to the 16:9 (two black bars left and right of screen). however its when i connect the ps4 to my monitor, it acts up. i tried different combination of display settings on both the ps4 and the monitor. I came to the conclusion of it being the PS4 because my laptop seems to work perfectly with the same monitor
Check it isn't just the hdd has been moved and isn't connected properly. To see if that's the case, first turn off, unplug from the mains and hdmi.
Use this link to show you how to access and remove the hdd, then just reseat it.
You aren't changing it so don't bother with that part of it.
You dont need to remove it from its caddy simply slide it out, then slide it firmly back in.
Make sure it's securely in place, put the cover back on, hook up hdmi and power then try again.

You may just be hearing the optical drive, don't shake it too much.

Hello im hoping someone can help me with this issue. I havent been able to play any games online since I moved in June. I have a PS4 pro. I have xfinity and my speeds are fast enough. I get online and it says online and everything is successful. I have been on the phone with xfinity and playstation multiple times. Ive done port forwarding and DMZ. Ive also upped my speeds and still will not allow me to play online. Ive reset my ps4 back to factory and deleted the database. Ive tried wired and wireless connection. I have tried multiple games COD WWII, battlefield 1 and far cry 5. I can get into lobbies but cant get past that and if i do in some miracle it boots me out 2 seconds later. Can anyone help me. Please

Unfortunately Xfinity is a US service, we (as far as I'm aware) don't have that service here so it's going to be harder finding someone who has personal experience of this here in the EU community.
That said, give us a bit more detail and I guess we can try and help you figure it out.
The only error I get is service is down try again later. Ive tried everything possible.
Log in to a friend's console to your account on another network. Otherwise, Sony blocks ISP, IP.
I have this weird problem with my DS4 controller:
A few weeks ago, my controller started having an issue with charging. It would only charge if I held the USB cable (the standard one, which came with my ps4) in a certain way. That worked for a few days. Then, my controller wouldn’t charge at all. Even my phone wasn’t able to charge anymore by using this cable. So I thought my cable was broken and tried to charge my controller with another USB cable. That worked, but after a few days, the same thing happened. My controller wouldn't charge anymore. After testing the cable with my phone, I concluded that another one of my cables had died. What did I do? Yes, I charged my controller with another USB cable. This one died too. Well... one more time. You guessed it. Another cable died. Now I’m out of USB cables and really want to know if it’s really my controller that fries my cables. I’ve never heard of devices frying cables. Only the other way around.
