Cool. Thanks. Weird I was reading that the data base rebuild could take hours. Mine rebuilt in 120 second. Also problem still exists. I appreciate your help though. I really don't want to have to backup everything and re-initialize.

Just log in playstation site and delete that message and then start playstation in safe mode and rebuild database and it should work.

No it only takes a few minutes,we must have had different problems, mine was definitely caused by a dodgy message. I would try rebuilding the database a couple more times. You can also install the system software in safe mode, I can’t remember whether this deletes everything though so you might want to check first.
