I am having the same issues, I am about to throw my ps4 out the door and switch to xbox. This is my 4 ps4 pro I had to return because of defective issues. Why can't I get one that works. Ugh

Firmware 6.0 update crashed my box
Whatever update they just released, shuts down my PS4 at random moments. It's been like this for 2 days. so I would unplug the cord from the system in the wall while I was at work, come home play for a while and then experience the same problem. I'm thinking about upgrading my system. This is complete ***** Sony.

Cannot buy games The credit/debit on file is not valid
I can no longer buy games at ps4 store, because I get the error «The credit/debit card information on file is not valid». The system says I should check my credit card information. Error code (WC-40382-7).
I have tried the following-
1. checked if I wrote right credit information and it is written in the latin alphabet.
2. My credit card is valid, I have bought games with it on ps4 earlier and I can still buy things with it on other sites. All except on ps4.
3. I tried adding funds through the browser on my computer and through ps4 store on the console, but both gives me the same negative reply.
4. I have tried paypal, hoped it would work as a workaround, but it didn’t work either. I get the same reply.
It started happening a couple of months ago, when I tried to buy a game with my credit card. It didn’t work, so I used my paypal, that worked but after I bought the game, I deleted paypal and credit card from payment options. But now I have readded them again, but none of them works. What I think is that Sony is declining my payment. Because I once removed my credit information. Any idea how to fix this?

Need advice about PS4 slim replacement
I posted this on reddit, thought I’d copy paste it here as well. Here goes...
I’m on my second PS4 slim now, my first was the blue days of play one which I had to get changed anyway for overheating problems, however my second one which is a regular black one, model 21XX, has started making an on and off high pitched sound when playing games. It is most noticeable in games like Spider-Man and wolfenstein where the fan is on the fastest. It comes on and off. I was also playing blackout and noticed that it would make the whining high pitched sound when I was looking around, and stop when I stood still. (This whine also wasn’t there when I first got the system, started a few weeks after and has gotten slightly worse)
Pretty sure this is coil whine. I’ve heard that all the 21XX model slims have some degree of coil whine but this is unbearable for me as my ears are sensitive.
If I were to bother getting a replacement from the shops (which I most likely would, when I got my DOP one replaced they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it in the store but offered me replacement anyway) what are my chances of getting another slim that has this same on and off coil whine issue? High? Low? I’ve had problems with PS4 since it came out, with my original being loud and now my slim with this coil whine. I just want a damn PS4 experience without problems.
Any help would be appreciated.

I found this error kept repeating after initializing the PS4. After trial and error, clearing the avatar's inventory of multiple items seemed to solve it. The PS4 may not have enough computing power to read large root files in the file tree.

No sound from PS4 on TV
I had a problem where I had selected under my sound and devices that all audio was sent to headset so there was no sound on my TV, changed that and problem was solved

Pop App
I tried to let my young lad watch something on it and it says, "Sorry! Unfortunately, it looks like you are not in the UK, so you can't access the app! You need to close the application".
I've used it previously, I haven't got a VPN or anything like that and I haven't changed settings.
Has anybody else had this problem with the Pop app?

How Long Do Refunds Usually Take?
I agree sony is the worst company not only domestically but internationally when it comes to refunds, that is why we must short sell sony. I believe if a company treats you bad give it right back to them. I am in a similar situation and will no longer use sony products because of this outrageous situation. And I hope you do the same. Microsoft here I come.
